Still Crazy after All These Years

One of my coworkers started chewing gum very loudly, so I popped in my earbuds and set my iTunes to shuffle. About twenty minutes later I was listening to the theme song of those webcasts we did once upon a time (and stopped doing because they were a lot of work and no one really seemed to care).

It was the episode from my birthday two whole years ago (same old complaints, same old surprises), and it was a fun stroll down memory lane to hear us talk about our adventures and finish each other’s sentences, as we still do today. Just hearing that theme song took me back to the time when we would record those webcasts, laying in bed at the end of the day in our old ghetto apartment, and it sufficiently blows my mind that two years later we are where we are, doing what we’re doing, planning what we’re planning, and yet still having as much fun with each other as we ever did. I still thrill at the sound of his voice, I still repeat every other thing he says and then giggle about it, and he still thinks it’s cool when I rip a hearty belch. Still crazy after all these years indeed.
