These Boots Were Made for…Everything

Remember that one time I was totally awesome and managed to get Simon a gift for a special occasion instead of just waving my hand and telling him I’d buy him something he wanted while we were out shopping together sometime in the indeterminate future? I liked that, and he did too.

Now here’s something for you to like: a chance to win your own pair of fancy kicks (or take advantage of a special discount coupon for them) courtesy of Langston’s Western Wear. (I don’t know if I’ve ever been sadder that I can’t win my own giveaways.) Click here for the details.

Tiny Prints, Big Impact

Hey there, sweet thing. Do you want to see my STDs? Heh heh heh.

You know you want to, so click over to my review blog, where I can show them to you as well as gush about one of my favorite companies, Tiny Prints, who stepped up with the hook-up when I first visited their headquarters last November. (I was just there again this afternoon, I love them so.)

Cupcakes and pretty paper ahoy!

(There’s also a second Tropicana contest going on ($100!), and starting tomorrow morning there will be another Olay contest ($100!) too, so ch-ch-ch-check ‘em out.)

My Fab Five

I hardly need an excuse to talk about people I love, but this week I actually got sponsored to write about some of my favorite bloggers (and not the same-olds I’m always linking to anyway). I hope you’ll go check it out and welcome some fabulous new people into your reader.

(For anyone who gets wigged out by this stuff, this is NOT a product review or advertisement but an honest-to-god straight-up sponsored post (i.e., they gave me a topic and a link and some disclosure language I didn’t have to say a word about any product or service or anything). Even better, the sponsor’s link, should you choose to click it, takes you to a contest to win $1,000 to grant a friend’s wish. That’s the sort of thing I’m happy to support, and I honestly hope one of you wins because I think my readers are the best.)
