Welcome to the Future (the future)
It's been a long weekend, with early-to-beds following too-early-to-rises, with swimming both days, plus hauling an Elementful of band equipment the length of the San Francisco Bay and back, plus the alleged theft of Simon's iPod, plus the alleged breakthrough of a new tooth, plus all the excitement surrounding the shiny new specimen that greeted all of you upon clicking here today, all thanks due to Skye, who I just totally linked by hand, automated do-everything shortcut buttons be damned. Perhaps my new masthead should have incorporated a dinosaur for symbolism.
So, if you're reading this, that means we're up and running (although if you happen upon any glitches in your travels, please let me know). And if I'm reading this, which I am, it means I'm up and running as well, which means I'm not sleeping, which means it's way past time for me to ctrl+alt+delete my alleged butt into bed so I'll be fresh and ready to get up and do it all again tomorrow.

Can't wait to take my girl to the pool, but they said three months at the hospital so we have to wait just a little bit longer. It will be indoor though, so no wearing sunglasses and feeling the sun on my skin.

Love the site! Just wanted you to know that it looks somewhat misconfigured in Safari... All the links + ads are at the top and you have to scroll down to see the new post. I'm getting so excited to see all of you at the wedding, especially Wombat if you bring him to brunch. You can admire my growing bump, which I burnt to a cinder at the beach on Sunday. Seriously, my navel is crispy. The yellow part of my tattoo turned orange, like some freakish primary color lesson. I like to think The Tyrant is swimming in Vitamin D though.
