Read your blog at Angella's (I'm a regular there, too). Great post, though I can't seem to comment on your post over there, so I thought I'd do it here. Isn't it funny the things that we feel, though we try to escape the feelings... I'm feeling a little bizarre over here, in my "domestic anonymity" hmmm... I don't think I make much sense. Have a great week.
I think I might to just be popular in my head. Far less hair curling and mascara application involved. Like dreaming about being an Olympic gold medalist - you get to enjoy the podium without all those pesky years of training.
I went over to her site to read your post, but started reading it and noticed it was longer than your usual long posts over here. Don't have the time right now to completely goof off!
Because it is about high school, you don't happen to have the Cliffs Notes, do you?

I loved your post at Angella's, but I thought I'd give you some comment love at your own bloggity place.
Popularity contest, indeed!
;)

Dearest Leah,
You probably don't realize it, but I read your blog.
On certain days, I think about a moment in the backseat of Dave's car after you broke up. I think of your smile, your sweetness.
It is hard to forget.
I envy you. I envy Simon. Someday, we will all tally what we've done with our lives.
You, my friend, my very good friend, have done just fine.
I miss you. I love you.
- Nick
Nick! How good to hear from you! And how like you to insinuate that I was up to no good in the backseat of someone's car at age seventeen!
(Nick and I used to write love poems back and forth for kicks. I still have some of them.)

Very funny, mister.
