Please P in Our Pool
Where in the hell did everybody learn to say "Snuffeluffagus"? There's a "p" in there, people. Use it.
Posted by Leah at April 6, 2006 04:50 PMMy husband's nickname is Snuffeluffagus so to me it'll always be pronounced that way, we're probably wrong but who cares it's a cute name anyways
Posted by: Adele at April 6, 2006 05:52 PMsince when do people mispronounce it? of course there is a p!
Posted by: jeorg at April 6, 2006 06:33 PMYeah, I'm wtih jeorg on this one. I don't recall ever hearing anyone mispronounce it. However, I am not frequently involved in conversations in which this topic is reasonably expected to come up.
Posted by: Simon at April 6, 2006 06:50 PMI think 90 percent of the time I've heard it it's been with the "ff." It makes my skin crawl.
Posted by: Leah at April 6, 2006 06:57 PMThere's a p in there? Yep, you're right, there is.
Posted by: Liz at April 6, 2006 06:58 PMThere is a p in there?
Really??
I cannot even begin to figure out where the p would go. Odd.
Posted by: girl at April 6, 2006 07:28 PMI always use the shortened and therefore easier, "Snuffy" when referring to him. That way, I avoid any type of Sesame Street faux pas. However, thanks to the article, I learned that Snuffy's grandma is my neighbor! Woo-hoo!
Posted by: Cora at April 6, 2006 07:31 PMoh the things happening on and about sesame street
these days. sometimes, i just need to cry into a pillow.
cookies are a sometimes food my ass.
and didn't snuffy used to be invisible?
Posted by: jenB at April 6, 2006 11:23 PMLeah, were you watching a little gem called One Tree Hill?
Posted by: Sarah at April 7, 2006 12:06 PMNo I was not, thank you very much, but if they said it on that show then I might as well just give up. Everyone knows the WB is the voice of the new generation.
