Goin' to the Country
Here are some pictures from last week's evening on the farm. My camera has been relatively quiet as of late, so it was good to get back out there and be all artsy and shit. (Note: A photograph I took just got published as the cover of a book = Yay me!)

More below the fold. There are about 35 shots in all. (I put a lot of space between the slideshows so they don't interfere with each other on the screen.)
Also, please keep sending in your proposals for the disposal of the body.
(Too many links to click? I hope not. Don't forget to comment; I'm feeling hormonal and needy.)

Hooray! Lens Flare!
Posted by: Simon at March 30, 2006 05:03 PMThank you, honey.
Posted by: Leah at March 30, 2006 05:09 PMWow. The little girl with the flowers? GORgeous. As are ALL of the photos.
What kind of camera do you have again? The Rebel? Or am I thinking of someone else....I covet the Rebel, at any rate. Covet it so very much.
Posted by: candace at March 30, 2006 05:23 PMHow do you like the Element?
Love the Rebel (350 XT), love the Element (although the back seats are too high for passengers to see easily out the window. But the seats fold all the way back, heh heh heh).
Posted by: Leah at March 30, 2006 05:40 PMJust wait. You have a photo on the cover of a book and you just kind of nonchalantly breezy about it? That is so awesome.
Kudos, well deserved.
Posted by: Kristin at March 30, 2006 06:13 PMBeautiful.
Posted by: Carrie at March 30, 2006 10:09 PMCongratulations on the photo being chosen for a book cover. These pictures are so beautiful even I (city girl to the core) want to go to the country.
Posted by: Marisa at March 31, 2006 04:36 AMCongrats on the book cover! And, as always, the photos are lovely. :)
Posted by: Sam at March 31, 2006 05:40 AMHey Leah, I've been trying to figure out where exactly you went - was it north, east, or south of where you are? I'd guess east or south...?
Oh, and the pictures are lovely.
Posted by: mle at March 31, 2006 07:59 AMCan you show us the photo that made it on the cover of the book? Come on, you've got to bask in your fame as thoroughly as possible!
Posted by: Amanda at March 31, 2006 08:35 AMWow. The pics are so great.. I'm having major lens envy. Such power!
Posted by: Jessica at March 31, 2006 09:15 AMhormonal neediness must be met with much reassurance. it goes a little like this.
