The Tussin

It's official: I am the lightest lightweight ever. Twenty minutes ago I took two tablespoons of a Robitussin-like substance and now I'm high as a kite on the Fourth of July. I'm trying my best to work, but chasing the words across the page is like trying to hit the target after a twelve-pack too many. An excercise in futility. It took everything I had just to get my feet to go one in front of the other toward the bathroom for my thirtieth pee of the day. I don't think I could make it home if I tried. I can't believe this stuff is safe for children. Although now it makes sense why the cashier was prompted to ask my birthdate before she could sell me the stuff. May induce PCP-like side-effects. No kidding. Drugs are bad.

Hope you feel better soon. In the meantime, enjoy the hallucinations.

I wish we could lose weight with exercises in futility, but it's just no use.
