March Monday Music Madness, Part the First
Behold! Simon playing the my-girlfriend-is-annoying-and-juvenile-and-won't-leave-me-alone-even-though-I-don't-wanna-perform-for-the-internets blues (1:22). He's not wearing a bathrobe, but I am.
Please be kind and don't make him uncomfortable by, oh, complimenting him. He doesn't like it. You may, however, say nice things about his pretty pretty guitar or his hand-me-down shirt, which is older than I am.
[Serendipity: Today is March 6, 2006, which means it is exactly two years to the very day since I first heard Simon play the guitar. It was acoustic and it was in the low lamp glow after half of the household had gone to bed. Angel of Montgomery. Black Sheep. Qotkntt.]
Posted by Leah at March 6, 2006 10:05 AMThe guitar is beautiful! It plays itself awesomelY!
Posted by: Lulu at March 6, 2006 10:18 AMI am (not) impressed! Simon is (not) very talented. I would (not) like to see more videos posted on your site.

Sorry, Simon, you are good and it's time you heard it from the internets!
Posted by: Amanda at March 6, 2006 10:28 AMWow! I'm really impressed. And how shiny is that guitar?! *swoon* Good catch Leah.
Posted by: Jessica at March 6, 2006 11:45 AMOMG. How sexy is THAT?
Posted by: tina at March 6, 2006 12:19 PMWowza! A man who really knows how to use his hands. You're a lucky gal, Leah. But of course you already know that. :)
Posted by: Sam at March 6, 2006 12:49 PMEven better--his main instrument is the harmonica. Oh yeah.
Posted by: Leah at March 6, 2006 01:08 PMYeah - thank god you warned me, so I will not be telling you how absolutely hot that is, how damn good he is, and how I am going to build a time machine to go back in time to the Under the Sea dance get his parents to kiss and hence make him a brother.
No, I won't mention any of that.
No way.
Posted by: angie at March 6, 2006 01:21 PMWow, and I thought those days when you posted a million pictures weren't dial-up friendly...
Posted by: Tim at March 6, 2006 11:01 PMHey Angie...do you think you could make that two brothers? Thanks.
Posted by: newgyptian at March 7, 2006 01:52 AMThe guitar playing was good, but I was more impressed by Simon's ventriloquism efforts that sounded just like Clapton!
Posted by: Texas T-bone at March 9, 2006 09:23 AMBeautiful guitar! But my favorite part was when I noticed Jake and Elwood on the ceiling behind the curtain.
Posted by: Frank at March 9, 2006 09:54 AMI was hoping someone would notice. Frank earns ten gold stars!
