Simon Says - "The Thrill is Gone"
Dammit. She beat me to it. And we just got off the phone...
It's true. We talked. We paused. We stopped.
Nothing to say.
It's not the first time we've been on the phone without talking. It's just that it used to be a whole lot of sighing and other mushy stuff. Now, it's just dead silence... a big gaping hole... in other words, the magic is gone, the thrill has gone flat. We are now average - just like everyone else.
Hmmm... what now? I guess it's time to close up shop, call it quits, chalk it up to a good effort. I mean, if we aren't utterly fascinated and fascinating ALL DAY EVERY DAY, then we must be totally wrong for each other.
Darn, it was going so well.

And Saint Pantsless of Assisi...
Or not.
Posted by: Leah at January 18, 2006 03:50 PMYou know, out of context, and written as opposed to spoken, it sounds a little weird to threaten to tell the world about the peetinis. It is not a word that, when written, looks like what it means.
Sort of like how the word pianist, when spoken not written, doesn't sound like what it means either...
Combine this with the words "pantsless" and a word that sounds like "sissy," and it's very misleading.
