Simon Says - "Communication Breakdown (It's Always the Same)"

Leah,

I fear that you are not getting any of my emails. I have tried your address at this site, and I have tried your work address, and an awful lot of them are coming back marked "undeliverable" or "delayed." From both addresses!

No wonder you feel so neglected and lonely.

I'm a bit pissed off about it myself. Just last night I wrote you a nice long email about Mel and Kilo's unusual departure for France, a description of the village where Kilo grew up, and our new hobby that I learned here, and I am keen to get into.

I am really not sure how many, if any of my emails you've gotten, but I hope that you're not sitting there thinking about what a worthless heartless bastard I am.

I once heard you say, "don't ever call me again" after a sort of similar breakdown of communication. I hope that is not in the cards this time.
__________

Update for you and anyone else who cares:

Anyway, it's snowing today. It's absolutely beautiful, but we've decided to stay close to home, just in case. So alas, no Tintern Abbey for us this trip. Maybe when we're here for the wedding. We head off to London tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to it. I haven't been there in about 4 years, so it will be nice to get back. We've both been there many times before, so we are still trying to decide what to do while we are there. My only ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY STOP is at my favorite lunch spot. I dont' remember what it is called, but for all you English readers, here is how to get there, and what to order:

Standing at the south edge of the square with your back to the column, turn left. Walk along the Strand until you are almost to Duncannon Street. On the left, there is a little cafe that is decorated on the inside with pink and gray tiles. This is the place.

Order a sausage and egg on a brown bap, with grilled onions and brown sauce.

I'm telling you, they do it better than anyone, and I don't know how. What makes it so good? Only they know.
__________

Anyway, that's all for now. I have to make a hotel reservation for our last night, and then we're off to City Centre.

I sure miss you, baby, and I can't wait to see you when I get home.

Love,
Simon

Aw, sweetheart, I miss you too!

I haven't received an email from you since December 23, so yeah, you were in heartless bastard territory. Luckily, you're still hot, so I wasn't yet ready to throw you to the dingos...yet.

Let me know when you're coming back to the states. Wednesday? Thursday? Morning, afternoon, evening? Your mother's had quite enough of you, I think, and it's time for her to transfer you back into my care.

In closing, I figured out how to set up a countdown on my cell phone and if the battery weren't dead right now, I'd tell you it's something like T minus two days, twenty-three hours, and nineteen minutes. Okay, so maybe I don't need my cell phone for that...

One more thing: We sat around and looked at pictures of your precious mug, and my grandma said you look like her brother Jack used to. And don't worry--nine inches, no less, just like you said.

Love you!

hey there, baby.

So I'm back on the 29th in the afternoon, and then staying in SC until the 31st. I'll give you all the details about that flight when I call you.

Go ahead and send email to my work account, because it gets there just fine, and I'll maybe try once again.

Hi to the fam.

Smoochy smooch smooch!

December 29th. Afternoon. I'll be home that day around 6 p.m. I'll hug and kiss the fur kids on your behalf if you'll hug and kiss London on mine.

I want to squeeze you both, how adorable. :)

But, I'll, um, just sit here and kiss and hug the general vicinity of work and home for you two.

Hope you two had lovely holidays...
