Disco Whiskey Shower*

A little Friday fairytale for you:

Once upon a long, long time ago, there was a very dirty princess. She was so dirty the only thing that could save her was a nice hot shower with lots of sudsing. Being a princess, however, she could not be expected to wash herself, and so an official proclamation was released declaring that whosoever offered the best "shower services" would henceforth be known as Her Ladyship's Royal Cleanser.

Long story short, Prince Simon showed up with whiskey and a grin and the position was filled.

As the prince and princess sat on the floor of the Royal Shower and passed the bottle, they both had the nagging sensation that something was missing.

"We need music, eh?" quoth he.

"Okay," quoth she.

And yea, there blasted forth Spice Girls and lo, it was loud.

And, dear sweet Jesus, there was disco dancing.

The prince and princess got down with their funky selves and rocked all two minutes and fifty-three explosive seconds of "Wannabe" before realizing that something was still missing. There was much co-pondering before, suddenly, the prince and princess turned toward one another and, looking deep into each others' eyes through the mist and steam, exclaimed in royal unison: "Disco ball!"

And thus was born a dream.

Back in the real world and not so long ago (i.e., Wednesday), Simon finally found his disco ball. We have since also acquired a mostly lame personal laser show thing that we found on a Target clearance rack a few months back. Add whiskey, Spice Girls, and a Barbasol bikini, et voila! Disco Whiskey Shower. Diskey Whisko Shower. Whisko Diskey Power! All we need now are some spikey-haired club kids to swirl around us with glowsticks.

We are seriously having criminal amounts of fun.
