Sticky Notes

Some random thoughts:

1. I really need to design an "I *heart* my quints" shirt on Cafe Press because there is no way two people should spend $500 on groceries for themselves in one night. Note: I am not exaggerating.

b. We make better sushi than the folks at the restaurant next to Trader Joe's.

3. Being a brat totally pays off. Example: All yesterday afternoon I whined to everyone in my general vicinity about wanting a cupcake real bad, and today one of them gave me a two-pack of chocolatey Hostess goodness. Conditioning--it works!

4. For the past three days, I've had an outrageous cowlick that must be stopped before it tsunamis my face.

5. Cowlick. Heh heh.

6. Does anyone know how to export from Netscape Mail 6 to Outlook Express? We're getting new computers at work (Mac Minis for all!) and I would like to not die from the stress of email transfer so I can be around to enjoy my new computer.

7. Christmas shopping already? Seriously?

8. I declare that "slicing the ham" shall be the new most popular euphemism for you know what in you know what position.

9. Britty's tummy done got all cut up. And didn't she fill her nursery with girly stuff?

10. There's stuff like this out there. (Especially check out Blood Scarf and Doilies.)

Discuss.

as long as you're not pulling the goalie (trying to get pregnant). I still swear by taking her to the submarine races as the best term for you know what.

*chuckling to myself* You said cowlick..

So eww to the blood scarf. Just goes to show you really can make a living at anything.

Slicing the ham.. heh heh heh

Well? Well??? It's after Saturday! Where's the juicy update!

I will never be the same after reading this and recalling a reply from Thanksgivings past.

I say, "Where's grandma?"

The reply, "She and your uncle are in the kitchen slicing the ham."

What happened on the date? Inquiring minds want to know...

I read your sticky notes and promptly went out and purchased a carrot cake cupcake, and did not even entertain the idea of sharing it with my fiancee. When he came in the room I actually closed the little styrofoam box it came in, so as to appear to have eaten all of it.

OMG! I just got back onto your site after a while to read about you and your new man! How super fantastic for you! I am so excited that you are finally able to share this news with everyone (btw, ha ha everyone, I knew about Simon before most of the rest of you ha ha ha!).

After all that you have said about him, I can only assume that Simon is super-wonderful, smart, charming, fun, sensitive, caring, sweet, kind, loving, attractive, and great in the sack. I am sure that as time goes on, we will hear a lot more about him.

BTW, Leah, are you going to fill us in on the big date? I know that I am dying to find out what you guys did. If you choose not to tell, though, I am OK with that. I would hate for our high hopes to be dashed upon hearing that the anticipation was better than the actual surprise. Men have a way of doing that, don't they? (Will, you know what I mean, don't you Mr. Winky-Boy? I mean, the anticipation was fabulous, but once the fish was out of the tank...)
