Stuck in the Middle
Of irresponsible people there are many types. There is the type that tells you the worst possible news at the worst possible moment. There is the type that commits what he thinks is a brave act but then turns tail and runs two seconds later. There is the type that dishes it out but can't take it. There is the type that has no allegiances, not even to himself. There is the type that says this and does that. There is the type that just can't understand and never ever will. Yes, there are many types of irresponsible people, and I know them all.
But thank god for the people who call you back even though it's past their bedtime. And for those who take a stand, even if it's up to their knees in the mud. And for the people who hug you and cook for you and tell you it'll all be better soon, even if they have to tell little irresponsible lies to keep away your gloom.
There are good people and bad people, but the ones to watch out for are the inbetweens. That's all the advice I have for you today. Watch out for the inbetweens.
