the people at the contact place who give me contacts even though my prescription expired a year and a half ago | fuschia flip flops that go with nothing | the Bus of the Year Award | squinting into the sun | the smell of everything | a new season of America's Next Top Model | barbecues | that the beach knows my name and calls me by it | Donnie Darko director's cut DVD | sending presents through the mail | spontaneous rupture | all caps | plane tickets and concert tickets | fake accents | a regular burrito with black beans and carne asada and mild salsa and sour cream | the "night flash" feature on my camera | chocolate pudding
